Rangel Knocks Down Deferment Dick

Wonderful isn't it? So nice to hear such honesty out of Deferment Dick Cheney criticizing Democrats and all others who question the reasons put forward for invading Iraq. Here is what he had to say today "What is not legitimate and what I will again say is dishonest and reprehensible, is the suggestion by some U.S. senators that the president of the United States or any member of his administration purposely misled the American people on prewar intelligence." Jack Murtha (D-Pa.) in its cross hairs for recanting his support for the Iraq war and calling for the troops to return home. "Cheney is like a chess player; he likes to move other people's pieces. In this case, it's sending other people's kids to war," Rangel told The Daily News. I noticed a bit of a drawback in the talking points today also. Previously, they were saying the Senators saw the same intelligence reports as the Administration. Today the meme is "they had ACCESS to THE intelligence". Notice the parsing of words here? Notice the lack of the word SAME and the addition of the word ACCESS? It seems to me they know that they are walking on quick sand, and their own words are coming back to bite them in the ass.
