Republican Memo Says Terror Attack Would Validate Bush
What a sad and disgusting state of affairs, that on this, a day for remembering those brave young men and women who have paid the ultimate price for our freedom, we see a story like this.
From Capitol Hill Blue:A confidential memo circulating among senior Republican leaders suggests that a new attack by terrorists on U.S. soil could reverse the sagging fortunes of President George W. Bush as well as the GOP and "restore his image as a leader of the American people." The closely-guarded memo lays out a list of scenarios to bring the Republican party back from the political brink, including a devastating attack by terrorists that could “validate” the President’s war on terror and allow Bush to “unite the country” in a “time of national shock and sorrow.” The memo says such a reversal in the President's fortunes could keep the party from losing control of Congress in the 2006 midterm elections. What the hell is going on here? They worry about the fortunes of the Republican party and George Bush rather than concern themselves with the citizens of the United States? These no good evil bastards deserve not only to be sent packing from their elected offices, but outright arrested. This is the same damn bunch who accuses everyone of being traitors and al Qaieda sympathizers if they dare to question their policies and the invasion of Iraq. The same people who manipulated intelligence and used it to lie the country into war. These are the same neo-con war mongers who support the likes of Rove, Libby, Hadley, Dick Cheney who possibly compromised (or were involved in the compromising) of a CIA officer's cover because her husband dared to speak out and call a lie a lie. These people are madmen!!! And they have to nerve to label others as "traitor"? It kind of makes you kind of wonder just how much involvement (either implicit or explicit) they had in 911. Go ahead and accuse me of tinfoil hattery, but read this article about PNAC (The Project for the New American Century), then come back and tell me that. You should also take a look at "REBUILDING AMERICA'S DEFENSES", which was published by the Project for the New American Century (PNAC), the author describes as a blueprint for many of the present actions of the Bush administration, actions which have begun to destabilize the balance of power between the nations of the world. Here is a chilling excerpt: Determined to have their world empire, they offered an eerie prophecy on page 52 of that document about how it might be accomplished, "Further, the process of transformation, even if it brings revolutionary change, is likely to be a long one, absent some catastrophic and catalyzing event – like a new Pearl Harbor." Their dream of a catalyzing event could not have been better actualized than in the events of 9/11.Better still, do even more research about it and decide for yourself. Then combine it with not only the above story, but also remember all the so-called "terror alerts" leading up to the last election whenever King Georges' approval rating dropped. The story of this memo should be on the front page of every newspaper in the world not just the country and the lead story on every newscast. Not only will it then make the populace aware of the criminal manipulations of George and his henchmen, but perhaps with it out in the open, our own level of protection will increase.
