Support Falling Fast For War In Iraq
News Flash for the Repugs!!!!!! Remember when you chided and laughed at the Democrats who were against the Iraqi Invasion, telling us we were out of the mainstream? Well take a look at this latest poll from Gallup and then tell me who is "out of touch with the people on the street".Nearly six in 10 Americans say the United States should withdraw some or all of its troops from Iraq, a new Gallup Poll finds, the most downbeat view of the war since it began in 2003.Patience for the war has dropped sharply as optimism about the Iraqi elections in January has ebbed and violence against U.S. troops hasn't abated. For the first time, a majority would be "upset" if President Bush sent more troops. A new low, 36%, say troop levels should be maintained or increased. And just how does this dissaproval for the war show in King George's approval/disapproval rating? From Common Dreams.org/Gallup Bush's approval-disapproval rating was 47%-49%, a tick worse than it was two weeks earlier but in the same range it has been for a year. This sure doesn't strike me being the much claimed "mandate" he claims. In fact someone with a wharped mind much like myself would say the only "madate" he could possibly have had was with Jim/Jeff/Gannon/Guckert. So just a quick question to the Repugs.............just who is out of touch now" MORE..... |
