Impeach Bush Say Wisconsin Dems

Via Daily Kos Calls for Bush's impeachment should be coming from the mouths of all Democrats and Republicans, all AMERICANS, who care about this country. The fact that it's not likely to occur is tragic for the country, but doesn't mean people should stop demanding it. It sure looks to me like the Wisconsin Democrats show a lot of not only intelligence but cajones also. Saturday afternoon during their annual State Convention at the Park Plaza in downtown Oshkosh, Wisconsin, the Democratic Party of Wisconsin adopted the following resolution: CALLING ON THE UNITED STATES CONGRESS TO INITIATE IMPEACHMENT PROCEEDINGS AGAINST PRESIDENT BUSH, VICE PRESIDENT CHENEY AND DEFENSE SECRETARY RUMSFELD FOR HIGH CRIMES AND MISDEMEANORS WHEREAS, the Downing Street Memo shows that Bush, Cheney and Rumsfeld began planning and executing the war on Iraq before seeking Congressional and UN approval; WHEREAS, UN weapons inspectors showed prior to the invasion that there were no weapons of mass destruction in Iraq; and WHEREAS, there is further mounting evidence that the Administration lied or misled about "mushroom clouds," "connections to 9/11," and "war as a last resort" as they sought UN, Congressional, and public approvals; THEREFORE, RESOLVED, the DPW asks Congress to immediately begin impeachment proceedings against President Bush, Vice President Cheney and Defense Secretary Rumsfeld. Congratulations Wisconsites the only problem I have with your resolution is you didn't name Condiliesalot Rice with the rest of them. The calls for the impeachment of these war criminals should not only be coming from Democrats in Wisconsin. They should be heard far an wide coming from every AMERICAN who values democracy and the future of their country. Sure you can laugh and say what's the use with a Republican controlled majority in both houses of Congress and the White House, but even if it is not possible, it doesn't mean the people who care can't demand it.
