Sensenbrenner Illegally Silences Committee Hearing

James Sensenbrenner Jr. (R-WI-5th)illegally shut down a Democratic hearing within the Judiciary Committee today when he didn't agree with what was being said. The hearing was being conducted regarding the abuses of the Patriot Act. Apparently the bully chairman didn't like what he was hearing, so he ordered the microphones shut off, the congressional reporter to stop recording the proceedings, and the witnesses to leave. I will post more on this when the details become available, and when I calm down after hearing this fiasco take place on C-SPAN. You know, The United States is the greatest country there is. But if this dictatorship we call the Republican majority, and their abusive tactics against not only its' citizens but now its' own elected representatives aren't brought to a halt I fear for that country.
