Ok I grant you this does not prove sexual contact but in light of the explicit sexual overtones in all of the instant messages ABC has copies of I ask you why should we believe that? Then the excuses start: 1. I am an alcoholic. 2. I was molested between the ages of 13-15 yrs of age. 3. I'm gay. Oh yes the ravages of alcohol. It made Bob Ney indulge in conspiracy to defraud the United States and falsify financial disclosure forms. That's right, all those bribes amounting to over $50,000 in gambling sprees at foreign private casinos were caused by alcohol, and now it has caused poor Mark Foley to be a predator of underage boys entrusted to his care. The molestation excuse is always a quick excuse of sexual predators. If that's the case with Foley, he should have sought treatment before the age of 52. If it didn't appear until just now, then one has to wonder how many boys out there have been abused since he was 13-15 years of age. And last but not least he tars every gay male as a sexual predator of young boys. Well that is not the case. If you look at the data, most (estimated 71%) child molestations are committed by heterosexual white males between the ages of 17 and 45 in steady relationships [emphasis mine].
