Let The Flip Flopping Begin
Now that the Republican Washington elite is all in a twitter about possible charges against certain higher-ups in the White House in the CIA leak case, the spin is beginning.
It is pretty well certain that the least of the charges against some of these higher-ups (read Rove, Libby and possibly Cheney)will be perjury. But I guess perjury is only a crime when it is about oral sex in the oval office. And of course said perjury must have been committed by a Democrat.
Take for instance Senator Kay Baily Hutchison (R-TX) and her statement this past Sunday on "Face The Nation" "if there is going to be an indictment that says something happened, that it is an indictment on a crime and not some perjury technicality where they couldn't indict on the crime and so they go to something just to show that their two years of investigation was not a waste of time and taxpayer dollars."In fact she even went so far as comparing it to the case of Martha Stewart and her stock sale, "where they couldn't find a crime and they indict on something that she said about something that wasn't a crime."How very consistent of Ms. Kay, seeing as how she had this to say regarding a certain President who performed or received (who knows and who cares?) a certain sexual pleasure in the oval office. "The reason that I voted to remove him from office is because I think the overridding issue here is that truth will remain the standard for perjury and obstruction of justice in our criminal justice system and it must not be gray. It must not be muddy."She also went on to place into the the official record this little gem in oh such solemn tones: "If only the President had followed the simple, high moral principle handed to us by our Nation's first leader as a child and had said early in this episode `I cannot tell a lie,' we would not be here today. We would not be sitting in judgment of a President. We would not be invoking those provisions of the Constitution that have only been applied once before in our Nation's history.Cut the crap Kay your just as big a hypocrite as the rest of your "family values" Republicans. What will your excuse be for insider trader Bill Frist or your money launderer Tom Delay? Oh I know! Bill just happened to forget his stock was in a blind trust......just a simple slip of the mind. And as for Tommy well gee wiz people how was HE supposed to know where the money would end up? After all being Majority Leader is hard work and he can't be expected to know EVERYTHING! Besides the prosecutor is nothing but a renegade Democrat gone wild and hey don't forget that there judge guy he's a Democrat too!!! |

Guess what liberal
said this: I was in a
tiny village in Tepoztlan
in Mexico on the 17th
of September, 1985,
and I had a vision-like
experience climbing
a mountain there on
the top of which is
a temple to the
Mesoamerican
Christ figure,
Quetzalcoatl.
And one of these
little UFOs came
over that mountain,
and I was signaled
from a group of persons
to come, and I was
beamed up into that
small vehicle and carried
to a larger vehicle where
I heard the voice of my
leader and teacher, the
Honorable Elijah
Mohammed saying
these words to me...
(Minister Farrakhan)
The left just seems to get
more excited about anything
when death is on the table.
I don't know what it is, whether
it's disaster death or war death
or society deciding we're going
to off some of our fellow citizens,
they get ginned up about it, really
get excited about the death aspect.
But, but, you start talking about life
and somehow they just don't have
as much interest in that, as though
it is enlightened to understand that
it's some people's duty to die and
get out of the way, and that not
everybody has a right to life. It
depends on what somebody
else wants. So I am continually
amazed at the left.
It certainly isn't the left that is causing thousands of deaths both American and Iraqi. I suppose you also believe the Republican Right cares for life. If they do, why is it they only care for that life when it is in the womb and all of a sudden forget about these children after they are born. Why is it that this hypocritical bunch let thousands go hungry and without any sense of security if they are so concerned about their "culture of life"?
I am continually amazed at the hypocritical right.
