Proving to be the blubbering, slobbering coward we all know him to be, it appears it was none other than Robert Novak himself who was among the first to spill the beans to Patrick Fitzgerald in the Plame/CIA leak case. The Washington Post is reporting:A critical early success for Fitzgerald was winning the cooperation of Robert D. Novak, the Chicago Sun-Times columnist who named Plame in a July 2003 story and attributed key information to "two senior administration officials." Legal sources said Novak avoided a fight and quietly helped the special counsel's inquiry, although neither the columnist nor his attorney have said so publicly.Isn't it fascinating how the shills from the media who speak the loudest about others and condemn them the most are always the first to roll over like a puppy getting its' stomach rubbed when the spotlight turns on them. I guess we now know why he cursed and stormed off the set of "Inside Politics" on CNN a few months back when the flame was getting a little too close to the moth and he knew that host Ed Henry was about to ask him about the CIA leak case. This also answers the question asked by many wondering why Novak's ass wasn't in jail.
