Santorum Wants Penalties On The Victims
Yet another wingnut of the right (Compassionate Conservative MY ASS!!!) has been heard from. It isn't bad enough that most of these people HAD to stay behind because they were so poor that they had no personal resources available and NONE were supplied to them. Now Sen. Rick Santorum (R-PA) wants to fine them on top of that.
Via WTAE-TV CH 4 (ABC) Pittsburgh...you can also view the scumbag saying it by clicking on the "Click for QuickView" tab at the bottom of the article. Note: I could not get it to run using FireFox however.Senator Rick santorum is criticizing the government's emergency response to hurricane victims hurricane katrina victims. But he's also criticizing the ones who chose to ride out the storm. I mean, you have people who don't heed those warnings and then put people at risk as a result of not heeding those warnings. There may be a need to look at tougher penalties on those who decide to ride it out and understand that there are consequences to not leavingSure Ricky they'll dig out their wallet for the money just as soon as they can push 3 feet of human feces and urine out of the way to find it. Speaking of human feces, look in the mirror Senator, you will see a perfect example of what it looks like. Meanwhile over at the White House, the King is resisting the calls for an immediate inquiry into the response by the administration saying: "I think one of the things that people want us to do is to play a blame game," Bush told reporters. "We've got to solve problems. We're problem solvers. There will be ample time for people to figure out what went right, and what went wrong. What I'm interested (in) is helping save lives." He said he would lead an investigation to find out what "went right and what went wrong" in order to improve coordination between federal, state and local authorities because of the possibility of future crises.Sure George, we have all the faith in the world in your honesty to investigate yourself. What an ass. Does he think the American people are that stupid that they would fall for this crap? That strategy is getting too old to put over on us now George. Your delay, delay, divert, divert strategy is one we are wise too. We found out about that with 9/11, Iraq, and the Rove investigation. Senate Minority Leader Reid has demanded that a "commission similar to the one that investigated the September 11, 2001, attacks" be set up immediately. And if King George thinks this is just a partisan move, he would do well to take notice that much of the criticism is coming from powerful Republican leaders also. MORE.... |
