OK John. Where The Hell Are You??

Back on June 2, John Kerry pledged to make an issue of the Downing Street Memo and help bring it to the forefront. "When I go back (to Washington) on Monday, I am going to raise the issue. I think it's a stunning, unbelievably simple and understandable statement of the truth and a profoundly important document that raises stunning issues here at home, and it's amazing to me the way it escaped major media discussion. It's not being missed on the Internet, I can tell you that." Well John, it is now June 21st, 19 days later. Where is this big announcement you promised? The fact is Senator Kerry there has been no effort on your behalf to "raise the issue". What's your plan John? Are you going to deal with this the same way you dealt with adversity during your loosing bid for the Presidency by staying silent? It looks to me like you are letting everyone else carry the load just as you did in your failed campaign. If it wasn't for Rep. John Conyers Jr., Progressive Bloggers like the members of Big Brass Alliance or organizations like AfterDowningStreet.org the media, and you wouldn't have a clue about this. You know what John? If your strategy is to let everyone else do the heavy lifting for you,and then step in after all the hard work has been done and attempt the grab the headlines and the credit, FORGET IT. Just stay the hell out of it! This is an important cause Senator, that involves the abuse of power by a corrupt President and his administration. We don't need a headline grabbing loser on the team!!!
