WMD Claim Was Fake Says UK Intel. Officer

In a special report from The Guardian we have more proof that Bush lied and the WMD story was false. A key Foreign Office diplomat responsible for liaising with UN inspectors says today that claims the government made about Iraq's weapons programme were "totally implausible". He tells the Guardian: "I'd read the intelligence on WMD for four and a half years, and there's no way that it could sustain the case that the government was presenting. All of my colleagues knew that, too". Now I know the right wingnuts are all off on their little tangent that the DSM is untrue, and they are trying to do the same to the Downing Steet Memo story that they did to CBS and Dan Rather, but that boat won't float fellas. There is more than enough overwhelming factual information available to substantiate the DSM. So I say to them GET OVER IT. Your leader lied the Country into an illegal war. It had nothing to do with 9/11 and everything to do with gaining a strategic bas in the Mid-East, and grabbing Iraq's oil. Gotta make himself and his oil buddies rich and happy. Why would he care that over 1700 U.S. soldiers killed and nearly 13,000 wounded in Iraq? After all being President "is hard work".
