    Biden and Edwards Elitist Jerks

What the hell is with Jack-Ass-Joe Biden? Has he totally gone over the edge? Or is he just using his TV appearances for his own self-serving interest in running for President? This jack-ass totally pissed me off today with his appearance on ABC's "This Week". It seems that Howard Dean made some comments about Republicans that Jack-Ass-Joe didn't like so instead of keeping his opinion to himself he decided to go off on Dean who's remarks in my opinion were right on the mark. Here is what Dean had to say that apparently offended Jack-Ass-Joe which was reported by CBS News:
While discussing the hardship of working Americans standing in long lines to vote, Dean said Thursday, "Republicans, I guess, can do that because a lot of them have never made an honest living in their lives." Dean said later his comments did not refer to hard-working Americans, but rather to the failure of Republican leadership to address working-class concerns.
He also went on to say that House Majority Leader Tom DeLay ought to go back to Houston where he can serve his jail sentence. Which he does in my opinion. And as for Republicans caring about the ordinary working person they sure as hell do not! That should be quite evident by the antics they pull regarding the appointment of right-wing ideologue Judges who want to turn back the clock on all the hard fought for civil liberties that have been won. The Presidents Social Security plans which do nothing but enrich the people on Wall St. Or how about the failed No Child Left Behind program? Yes my friends Howard Dean is right on the mark. Of course Jack-Ass-Joe had to boost his own self-esteem by saying
Dean "doesn't speak for me with that kind of rhetoric and I don't think he speaks for the majority of Democrats," Biden, the top Democrat on the Senate Foreign Relations Committee, said Sunday on ABC's "This Week."
Oh is that so? Isn't he the head of the Dems? He sure does speak for the rank and file. Of course Mr. Rich Man Jack-Ass-Joe wouldn't know any common run-of-the mill rank and file member if he got bit by one. Now it isn't bad enough that Biden acts the self-centered fool. The other Presidential hopeful Pretty Boy John Edwards decided to weigh-in and do some bashing of his own.
Responding to Dean's initial remark, Edwards said Dean "is not the spokesman for the party." Dean is "a voice. I don't agree with it," Edwards, a former senator and the Democrats' vice presidential nominee in 2004, said Saturday at a party fundraising dinner in Nashville, Tenn.
    He went on to say
Dean "is not the spokesman for the party."
Another blowhard who seems to forget Deans' position as head of the Democratic Party, but you can bet your sweet ass both Edwards and Biden will be more than happy to reap the money Dean raises for the party come election time. As David Sirota said in a post today at Working For Change:
First and foremost, Dean's candor is a quality the Democrats need more of - how many polls do we have to see showing the public thinks Democrats stand for nothing? Secondly, the party is supposed to be a team. When top officials go to the media and attack their chairman, they do nothing but weaken the party as a whole. Can you imagine the Republicans ever doing such a thing? No, because they wouldn't. Finally, Democrats criticizing Dean for being too tough on the Republicans seem to forget that, in some ways, that's a DNC Chairman's role. Sure, some of his comments weren't perfect. But one of the chairman's key jobs is to put the wood to the GOP in a way that elected officials can't.
    [snip]
He seems to understand his limits and understand regional sensitivities both to his own image, and that of the national Democratic Party. Most importantly, he - more than anyone else - can re-open the party to its own grassroots, and help project a new image of conviction that Democrats desperately need. That can be nothing but good in the long run for a Democratic Party that has become all too dominated by insulated elites.
What the hell ever happened to sticking together and going after those sleazeball Republicans instead of one of their own. Especially one who seems to know the wants and needs of the rank and file REAL Democrats out there. Get over yourselves you two elite inside-the-beltway ass-kissers of the corporate world and start standing up for your own instead of eating them for lunch.
