War Started 6 Months BEFORE Shock And Awe
Well it will be interesting to see what happens if the MSM grows balls big enough to report and investigate this. Needless to say the blogosphere is picking it up. Here are the facts:
1)Bush lied to Congress.
2)Bush lied to the American people.
3)Bush conspired with Blair to falsely lead America into war.
4)Bush knowingly overstepped his constitutional powers.
5)Bush broke his oath to uphold the US Constitution.
The Nation reports: It was a huge air assault: Approximately 100 US and British planes flew from Kuwait into Iraqi airspace. At least seven types of aircraft were part of this massive operation, including US F-15 Strike Eagles and Royal Air Force Tornado ground-attack planes. They dropped precision-guided munitions on Saddam Hussein's major western air-defense facility, clearing the path for Special Forces helicopters that lay in wait in Jordan. Earlier attacks had been carried out against Iraqi command and control centers, radar detection systems, Revolutionary Guard units, communication centers and mobile air-defense systems. The Pentagon's goal was clear: Destroy Iraq's ability to resist. This was war. There is only one problem here. This took place in September 2002--a month before Congress had voted to give President Bush the authority he used to invade Iraq, two months before the United Nations brought the matter to a vote and more than six months before "shock and awe" officially began.Seems to me that if you combine this with what was found in the Downing Street Memo there is more than enough reason to start a congressional inquiry into articles of impeachment of not just that lying snake in the Oval Office, but all the rest of his tag-a-longs with him. This sure as hell is a lot more damaging than a BJ in the Oval Office which was reason enough to go after Bill Clinton. Don't forget every member of congress is up for election in '06 with a strong possibility that the Dems will regain the majority. We won't have to worry about it passing on a vote in congress then. |
