Democracy In Iraq Through Chemistry
Are you happy Christian America? Can you justify this being done in your name? My God I can't even wrap my mind around this report!U.S. Used Chemical Weapons In Iraq Veteran admits: Bodies melted away before us. By RAI The Americans are responsible for a massacre using unconventional weapons, the identical charge for which Saddam Hussein stands accused. An investigation by RAI News 24, the all-news Italian satellite television channel, has pulled the veil from one of the most carefully concealed mysteries from the front in the entire US military campaign. No damn wonder Bush and the rest of his cabal refused to recognize the International War Crimes Tribunal. If you can stand it, take a look at the video available from ICH News, and also Crooks And Liars. If you call yourself a Christian, how in the world can you support that criminal regime in the White House known as the Bush Administration? I am aghast at the rank hypocrisy of you people. And to think you have "dear leader" stating yesterday "We Don't Torture". What the hell is this if not torture? What were those photos from Abu Gharib? Innocent men, women and children murdered in this hideos way. Imagine if you can, you puting your children to bed, then retiring for the night with your loved one, only to have a white powder dropped on you in your sleep that literally melts away your skin as it burns through to the bone. The use of chemical weapons on the citizens of Iraq was reported on as far back as June by ICH, and other media OUTSIDE the US. Where was the MSM in the US? As usual nowhere to be found. "Despite persistent rumors of injuries among Iraqis consistent with the use of incendiary weapons such as napalm" the Pentagon insisted that "US forces had not used a new generation of incendiary weapons, codenamed MK77, in Iraq." (UK Independent) The Pentagon lied. Defense Minister, Adam Ingram, admitted that the US had misled the British high-command about the use of napalm, but he would not comment on the extent of the cover up. The use of firebombs puts the US in breach of the 1980 Convention on Certain Chemical Weapons (CCW) and is a violation the Geneva Protocol against the use of white phosphorous, "since its use causes indiscriminate and extreme injuries especially when deployed in an urban area."Now we have the BBC News reporting the current story. Italian state TV, Rai, has broadcast a documentary accusing the US military of using white phosphorus bombs against civilians in the Iraqi city of Falluja. Rai says this amounts to the illegal use of chemical arms, though the bombs are considered incendiary devices. Eyewitnesses and ex-US soldiers say the weapon was used in built-up areas in the insurgent-held city. ...... Jeff Englehart, described as a former US soldier who served in Falluja, tells of how he heard orders for white phosphorus to be deployed over military radio - and saw the results. "Burned bodies, burned women, burned children; white phosphorus kills indiscriminately... When it makes contact with skin, then it's absolutely irreversible damage, burning flesh to the bone," he says. There is a video also available of an interview with Jeff Englehart, HERE. I suspect the same will happen in this last case. The story will only be reported on in Europe by Italian and British media news. I simply have one question for the US media. How can you sit back and be silent when this is being done in the name of a country that used to be known for its' decency? |

It has been more than apparent that the U.S. media has not been doing a proper job for some time now. They have forgotten how to ask the politicians the "tough" questions but rather stick to the prescribed menu.
Where oh where is Walter Cronkite?
The U.S. was disliked in the past but now that dislike is turning to hatred by the peoples of other countries.
With Veterans' Day in the U.S. (and Remembrance Day in Canada) on Friday, I hope Americans also take a moment to consider what our government has been doing.
