Larry C. Johnson a former CIA operative and current intelligence expert posts on his blog NO QUARTER that some VERY BIG names are among the 22 indictments that will be handed down from Patrick Fitzgerald in the Plame leak investigation. How are these names for size? Rove, Libby, Hadley, Matalin...and last but not least Cheney.A New Tidbit on the Plame Affair by Larry C. Johnson Had lunch today with a person who has a direct tie to one of the folks facing indictment in the Plame affair. There are 22 files that Fitzgerald is looking at for potential indictment . These include Stephen Hadley, Karl Rove, Lewis Libby, Dick Cheney, and Mary Matalin (there are others of course). Hadley has told friends he expects to be indicted. No wonder folks are nervous at the White House. As Mr. Rogers would say "It's a happy day in the neighborhood". Larry Johnson is no fly-by-night rumor monger. Here is some of his bio: Larry C. Johnson is CEO and co-founder of BERG Associates, LLC, an international business-consulting firm that helps corporations and governments manage threats posed by terrorism and money laundering. From 1985 through September 1989 Mr. Johnson worked for the Central Intelligence Agency. During his distinguished career, he received training in paramilitary operations, worked in the Directorate of Operations, served in the CIA’s Operation’s Center, and established himself as a prolific analyst in the Directorate of Intelligence. In his final year with the CIA he received two Exceptional Performance Awards. This sounds like a credible individual to me, lets hope his source is just as credible. Here is another interesting facet to this story. Stephen Hadley was Deputy NSA for none other than Condiliesalot Rice when she was the National Security Advisor. When she became Secretary of State, King George named him to be NSA. Could righteous Miss Condi possibly be taken down a peg or two? |
