Civil Rights Pioneer Rosa Parks Dies At 92

Civil rights pioneer Rosa Parks has died. Parks, 92, reportedly died around 7 p.m. Monday. Parks' refusal to give up her bus seat to a white man in Montgomery, Ala., in 1955 landed her in jail and sparked a bus boycott that is considered the start of the modern civil rights movement. Parks, was born on Feb. 4, 1913. She now lives in Detroit. MORE....

Indeed. She was a beacon showing what freedom truly is, and how disheartening to see the way the Bush crime family is chipping away at those freedoms.
