Can't Handle A Disaster - But Can Handle A Major Terror Attack?

All we have heard from this administration since Sept. 11/91 is how all available resources are being poured into Homeland Security (which included FEMA) in order to protect the U.S. Citizens from a massive terror attack. The press ate it up, and the naive public (because the press didn't do its' job and question) believed it. Now the true plan has emerged thanks to Hurricane Katrina. The REAL plan? Keep 'em afraid. Constantly warn of terror attacks while reassuring the public they were doing everything possible to keep us safe and prepared. In other words, the "politics of Fear". All this bunch of criminals in the administration have been doing is using fear to hang on to and gather more and more power, while at the same time weakening any opposition to them by calling them "traitors" "terrorist enablers" and more. Well I want George to answer the public one question. If you were doing everything possible to be disaster ready, where is that readiness you have been working on all these years? Isn't part of disaster preparedness having evacuation sites at the ready all over the country? Well one thing Miss Katrina has done, is show all of us that the whole damn lot of them are fucking liars. NOTHING has been done. Homeland Security and FEMA are broke!!! More money is being called for!!! What the hell did you do with the billions upon billions already allocated to National Security which includes "emergency preparedness". Where was Condiliesalot through all this? Out buying thousands of dollars of shoes, and attending a play on Broadway called "Spamalot". Where was V.P. Dickhead Cheney? Why on vacation in an undisclosed location of course!!! This is your administration at work. This is your administration that is prepared and protecting the country. Where are the National Guard troops with their high-water vehicles, generators, and communications equipment needed for true emergency preparedness? Look no further than Iraq, illegally occupying a country under orders from an incompetent Commander-in-Chief. This is the beginning of the end of the Bush Administration and his fellow Republicans in Congress. Liars and thieves who should have been turfed out years ago when they ignored written reports warning of Airplanes used as missiles against U.S. buildings. The very same people that for the last 4 years have ignored warnings from the Army Corps of Engineers regarding the lack of safety and insecurity of the levees that are supposed to protect the City of New Orleans and other areas of the Gulf Coast. In fact they did the very opposite of what was needed, and cut funding for flood control and diverted the funds to the illegal war in Iraq. Finally the MSM is waking up to the lies and ineptitude of this administration that they have been swallowing hook, line, and sinker since this moron came into office, and putting the administration officials feet to the fire. Unfortunately, it may be too little too late.
