FEMA Directing Donations To "Assasination Reverend"

This has got to rate among the top absurd stories to date. Sploid is reporting that FEMA has posted a list of authorized charities where donations can be sent for the victims of Katrina. First on the list is the American Red Cross which makes perfect sense. SECOND on the list is the "Assasination Reverend" himself Pat Robertson's "Operation Blessing". FEMA, the Federal Emergency Management Agency, is the lead federal agency in the rescue & recovery operation at work in New Orleans and the Mississippi gulf coast. FEMA has released to the media and on its Web site a list of suggested charities to help the storm’s hundreds of thousands of victims. The Red Cross is first on the list. The Rev. Pat Robertson’s “Operation Blessing” is next on the list. In case you didn't know this, "Operation Blessing" is one of King Georges' favourite "Faith Based" Federal assistance programs. How convenient. Yet another of the Fake Presidents' rich buddies stands to make millions of dollars from yet another scam. As the article points out, Robertson’s shell organizations have already collected more than $25 million from the federal government under various “faith based” federal-handout programs. And with millions of distraught citizens looking to FEMA for help in finding reputable organizations to help Katrina survivors, Robertson stands to profit magnificently from the horror that has fallen on New Orleans and the Gulf Coast. As a matter of fact, the entire board of directors of the organization are members of his own family. And of course they all do this out of the kindness of their Christian hearts.........right? This cesspool that is the Christian/Republican bunch surrounding this administration and its' Congressional crime bosses like DeLay, Cobourn, Santorum, Frist, and Hastert get more putrid every day.
