Goldberg Yawns While Kids Die - Why Am I Not Surprised

From the front page post by Kos As many of you know from reading the blogs (Liberal and Conservative) most of those right-wing bloggers (aka The 101st Keyboardists) who hung on every lie this President put forth as a reason for the war on Iraq, and now the illegal occupation of that country, ridiculed and told any of us who dared question these lies that we were aiding and abetting the enemy and called us much worse. The biggest offender was none other than Mr. Bow Tie himself Jonah Goldberg. Well the best blogger there is bar none (Kos) has a front page article about the need for enlistees and the crises our military is facing due to lack of manpower. Here are a few excerpts from his post Fact is, there's a recruiting crisis right now. Those who claim to support this war and the president's competence in waging it are cowards. They won't put their lives and that of their children, grandchildren, listeners and supporters on the line. They'd rather others suffer the effects of their warmongering, safe and secure in front of their monitors. They don't believe in this war. The War Preachers, the War Politicians, the War Pundits, and the 101st Fighting Keyboardists -- they don't even believe in this war. They're too busy yawning. And their pretend convictions are getting good people -- real American heroes, killed in Iraq. Very well said Kos, and unfortunately every word is true. These guys love to spout off and wave the flag in false patriotism and lust for the blood of others. But just suggest that they do their part, and you get stories like this one from one of your readers.: I loved your blistering critique of Jonah Goldberg (General of the 101st Keyboardists)... I sent it to him with some choice words. His one word response: "Yawn". I e-mailed him back and said: "You 'yawn' while good Americans die... Soo typical of your kind." That says it all!!!!
