    Even More Powers Sought By The Bush Regime

    It's not bad enough that King George now has the power to define what abuse is. It's not bad enough that the right of Habeus Corpus has been suspended for detainees at Guantanamo Bay. Now the little dictator that could wants to limit the detainees' defense lawyers to four visits, control the topics they can discuss during the meeting, and even restrict the subject of information that exchanged between the lawyers and their clients through the mail.
    The government filed the new rules in August with the federal appeals court in Washington, D.C., which is currently reviewing them in connection with the case of a Guantanamo detainee. If the court agrees to the limitations, they are expected to be applied to future cases. Read on.....
    Ever so slowly, the rights of everyone - citizen of the U.S. or not - are being eroded, turning the country into a dictatorship. Therefore this upcoming election is absolutely critical so Democrats (if they can take control of the Congress), can provide the oversight that has been all but forgotten by the current rubber-stamp Republicans now in power. HAD ENOUGH? Then be sure and support your Democratic candidate on November 7th.

    SHUT UP you blind liberal. I appreciate the fact that you have a heart, but unfortunately you lack a brain. The crazy thing is, some people actually see you as sane...

    Now Now Anonymous, no one asked you to come here. If you can't stand the heat get out of the kitchen. Better yet, go back to Hannity or Rush and fill your brain with some more of their BS. One more thing...if you can't have the courage of your convictions to at least sign your name to your hate I feel sorry for you. That only tells me you have a closed mind and couldn't participate in an intelligent debate of viewpoints.

    Have a nice day :-)

    If only Gov Granholm had been born in the USA, we could be getting together a Draft-Jennifer Committee for 2008!

    Blogger canuk said ... (7:32 a.m.) :

    I hear you vigilante, and I couldn't agree more. My prediction is that if a Democrat is elected President in '08, Jennifer will be tabbed for Attorney General. She is a brilliant lawyer, and her history as AG of Michigan is second to none.

    Thanks for stopping by :=)
