Why Didn't You Get Zarqawi When You Had The Chance?

That is my question to King George. In a pre-released excerpt of his speach released HERE, chimpy says "The terrorists can kill the innocent - but they cannot stop the advance of freedom. The only way our enemies can succeed is if we forget the lessons of September 11 ... if we abandon the Iraqi people to men like Zarqawi ... and if we yield the future of the Middle East to men like Bin Laden." It is bad enough he is still connecting 9/11 to Iraq, but as you can see HERE he had the chance to get Zarqawi and didn't do it. With Tuesday's attacks, Abu Musab Zarqawi, a Jordanian militant with ties to al-Qaida, is now blamed for more than 700 terrorist killings in Iraq. But NBC News has learned that long before the war the Bush administration had several chances to wipe out his terrorist operation and perhaps kill Zarqawi himself -- but never pulled the trigger. [...] Military officials insist their case for attacking Zarqawi's operation was airtight, but the administration feared destroying the terrorist camp in Iraq could undercut its case for war against Saddam. How about it Georgie? Just why did that happen? I wish he would come clean with the American people and tell the truth just one damn time. Then again, as I said in a previous post, he wouldn't know the truth if it bit him in the ass. With this kind of crap still being spoon-fed to all within earshot, I doubt very much if his approval ratings will improve much. As well they shouldn't. His favorite saying is "it's hard work..snort snort" and obviously he still hasn't learned how to do any. Oh! I almost forgot Georgie! One more question for you......just how is that hunt for Osama Bin Forgotten going anyway?
