Let's Make Deal - Starring Donald Dumbfeld

Well I guess it is alright now to make a deal with the enemy now that Dumbfeld gives his blessing. When asked on NBC's "Meet the Press" about the reports that there were secret meetings with the insurgent leaders in Iraq, Dumbfeld replied "Oh, I would doubt it. I think there have probably been many more than that." Of course he went on to make this wheeling and dealing seem ok because it was only being done to help the new Government in Iraq reach out to Sunni Arabs. Ya right and I got a bridge to sell you. What makes me suspicious about these "secret" meetings, is that this was also how the US propped up Sadaam for so many years until they decided they would rather have control of the region (along with the oil it brings), themselves. It's just a never ending circle with these guys. Prop 'em up and keep them around until they decide the have a better idea or they find a newer and better dictator to support. What a damn farce.
