Cornyn Named As Possible Supreme Court Nominee

Yes you read that correctly. Sen. John Cornyn (R-TX)the same John Cornyn who said he "understands why people kill judges" is being mentioned as a possible Supreme Court Nominee should a vacancy come available during King George's term. The Houston Chronicle reports: Cornyn, a rising figure in the Senate on judicial issues, could fit the administration's profile for a Supreme Court justice: He has a conservative philosophy, wide-ranging legal experience and good standing with the president. Oh he's a rising figure alright, and he fits right in with the rest of the wing-nuts of the far right that King George caters too. Cornyn has built an unusually high profile for a freshman senator and has been a key GOP player in the fight over Bush's judicial nominations for the federal bench. What that means in the reality based language is he sucks-up the King George and the religious-right therefore that makes him qualified. Well he may be a qualified ass-kisser but he certainly is not qualified for the Supreme Court of The United States where they are supposed to protect citizens' constitutional rights not demolish them. Well if he does make it to the bench I certainly hope he THINKS before he SPEAKS or many others may also "understand why people kill judges". MORE.....
