    Yet Another Bin Laden Message

Well as has been the case too many times, Osama has resurfaced with a message yet again when distraction from the Administration's policies or actions are needed. As Enid The Church Lady would say, "How Convieeenient." Does anybody else notice the pattern here? During election campaigns for President, Osama appears. King George comes under attack when it is disclosed that warrantless wire taps are occurring, Osama appears. And now during the same time the Administration comes under attack for tracking bank transactions and the Supreme Court gives the boy king a royal slap-down, ruling that the Georgie overstepped his authority in ordering military war crimes trials for Guantanamo Bay detainees, right on schedule Osama appears yet again. One again, I have to quote Enid "How Convieeenient"

    King George's Abuse Of Power

So the hand-picked U.S. Supreme Court has finally decided to smack the boy king down a peg....good on them!!! Not only did they rule that military trials for detainees at Guantanamo Bay are illegal, but also rejected the Bush administration's argument that the Geneva convention does not apply to prisoners held at the American facility in Cuba. Gee do you think the talking heads and/or the Bush administration will now question the patriotism of the Supreme Court Judges the way they do with everyone else who dares to question decisions and actions by King George and his minions? Every year in order to celebrate our freedoms and the good neighborship of the two countries of Canada and the United States, we in this area hold our "International Freedom Festival". To get things off to a roaring start, there is a monstrous fireworks display (said to be the largest in North America) which brings well over 1 million spectators lining both sides of the Detroit River which separates our two countries. During the covering of the event, inevitably it is brought to our attention the freedoms both countries enjoy and how thousands of American and Canadian troops have paid the ultimate sacrifice for us to enjoy this freedom. This year however I could not help but be saddened that Bush and his lackey yes-men and women seem to be doing their very best to erode those very same freedoms. I could list their ways of accomplishing this erosion of freedoms here, but I am sure you are all well aware of what has happened. Let's just say, the U.S. and eventually Canada with its' very own far right conservative government are IMO on a serious slippery slope towards a police state. So as we celebrate both countries, Canada Day on July 1st and Independence Day on July 4th, please keep in mind that our collective freedoms came at a very high price, and we must stand strong and not let this reckless boy-king who likes to dress-up and play "war President" take them from us.

An Apology Is In Order - Or Is It?

Ok so the big news of the day is that the slippery turd blossom has gotten away with yet another one. If that is the case then I guess there is an apology in order to my readers. I like many others, fell victim to the trap of posting and linking to stories that wrote what I wanted to hear. Or is that really the case? Somewhere in the back of my mind, I still have that persistent little voice saying "don't give up hope yet" I may be splitting hairs here, but just what exactly did KKK Karl's attorney really say in his statement? The quote I see courtesy of NYT
In a statement, Mr. Luskin said, "On June 12, 2006, Special Counsel Patrick Fitzgerald formally advised us that he does not anticipate seeking charges against Karl Rove."
Go ahead and call it splitting hairs, or an unwise use of semantics, but the words "he does not anticipate seeking charges against Karl Rove." does not EXACTLY mean no charges will ever be laid. This looks to me like a deal was made between Fitzgerald and Rove. Meaning, in exchange for his ongoing cooperation with Fitz along with previously agreed upon testimony in the Libby trial all will be well. BUT should the slippery turd somehow slither off course, I believe you will see the boom come down loud and hard. Let's also remember another thing. What's the status of the investigation into slippery Dick Cheney the Darth Vader and in my humble opinion the mastermind of this entire fiasco? OK here is where I know I will be accused of wearing my tinfoil hat but consider this scenario. Libby implicates and fingers in a round about way Slick Dick. Rove is called to testify and cements the implication. Voila the entire story takes on a new meaning doesn't it? There are already rumors that Cheney intends (at Bush's and Republicans up for re-election insistence) to resign due to health reasons when in reality it will be for the health of the Republican Party. So who cares in King George's administration if Dick goes down.........don't forget both he and Libby can be pardoned without question anytime, if not after the midterm elections, then DEFINITELY when the scumbag pretend president leaves office. Now this is an outcome I am sure we could all live with. Until Fitzgerald is completely finished uncovering every piece of slime and sweeps away every layer of pond scum for me the fat lady hasn't even started to warm up yet let alone sing.

    PRESIDENTIAL LIBRARY DESTROYED BY FLOOD

Crawford, Texas -- A tragic flood this morning destroyed the personallibrary of President George W. Bush. The flood began in thepresidential bathroom where the two books were kept. Both books have been lost. A presidential spokesman said the president was devastated, as he had almostfinished coloring the second one. The White House tried to call FEMA, but there was no answer

    BROKEBACK MOUNTIES

Received today from The Canadians for Equal Marriage Newsletter: In a historic first for Canada, the RCMP will celebrate the first-ever same-sex wedding on June 30 when Const. Jason Tree and Const. David Connors get married. The two young officers, based in Nova Scotia, began dating eight years ago when both were students at the University of New Brunswick. They’re planning to wed in their scarlet dress uniforms, and many of their colleagues will be on hand to witness the occasion. “This is a first for us,” said Sgt. Frank Skidmore, the RCMP’s spokesperson in Nova Scotia. “Certainly, the RCMP welcomes a workforce that is representative of Canadian society, and that is the case here.” Unfortunately, not everyone is openly applauding the ceremony. Shortly after the wedding was announced, Prime Minister Stephen Harper issued a gag order to his Conservative caucus, forbidding them from commenting on the nuptuals. A War Against Equal Marriage Rights On Both Sides Of The Border

In the United States: -thousands upon thousands of residents in the Gulf States remain displaced from their homes as yet another Hurricane season approaches. -thousands upon thousands Civilians have been reported killed by military intervention in Iraq with many more maimed, and over 2476 troops have been killed with an untold number coming back maimed. -the National Debt has been driven up to $8,358,356,586,736.54. -more than 46 million Americans are withouth health care coverage. -accusations abound of 24 unarmed Iraqi civilians in Haditha inluding women and children murdered in cold blood LAST NOVEMBER and a subsequent coverup by higher ranking officers. All this and what does the Republican Congress and President want to do? Why let's debate a manufactured Defence of Marriage Act today, and Ban The Burning Of The Flag tomorrow - to be enshrined in the Contitution!!!!!
    ******************************************
In Canada: -Canada’s manufacturing sector lost 42,000 jobs last February according to the latest Statistics Canada’s Labour Force Survey. That brings the total of accumulated manufacturing job losses of 200,000 since November 2002. -Canadian Forces deaths climb almost daily in Afghanistan. -Prime Minister Stephen Harper like his cohort in the U.S. orders the ban of any photographs of our war dead returning home. -Violent crime overall is 35% higher than it was 20 years ago, while Canada’s homicide rate rose 12% in 2004. In some urban areas, particularly in Toronto and increasingly in Greater Vancouver, gun violence has reached crisis proportions. -Seventeen Canadian residents arrested on terrorism charges were inspired by al Qaeda with reports now being leaked that the targets were Parliament and other locations in Southern Ontario. All this and what does our Conservative Prime Minister Stephen Harper want to do? On Friday, June 2, Stephen Harper announced he will hold a vote in the fall on whether to re-open the divisive equal marriage debate. Even though Canadians believe this issue is settled, the Christian Taliban here as in the United States are determined force their restrictive religious belief on the rest of us. This is NOT a religious issue.......this is a CIVIL issue. No one here or in the U.S. intends on forcing Religious institutions to perform or sanction same-sex unions. And despite what these zealots would have you believe by using terms like "Marriage Protection Act", I fail to see how two men or two women living together will threaten any well founded heterosexual union.

Terrorism Rears Its' Ugly Head In Canada

Via Reuters out of Toronto, Ontario, Canada it is being reported that:
    - Seventeen Canadian residents arrested on terrorism charges were inspired by al Qaeda, had amassed enough explosives to build huge bombs and were planning to blow up targets in densely populated Ontario, police said on Saturday. The group possessed three tons of ammonium nitrate -- or three times the amount used in the 1995 federal building bombing in Oklahoma City that killed 168 -- and were preparing to make bombs, Mike McDonell, assistant commissioner of the Royal Canadian Mounted Police, said
Well I guess it's time to start building that second wall (this one between Canada and the US). And let's not forget the US National Guard joining with troops from Camp Borden. After all there IS a November election coming up in the U.S. An election in Canada you ask? Well' isn't our own "George Junior" - Stephen Harper (PM of Canada and Conservative) also spoiling for a fight over the Gay Marriage Amendment by calling for a "free vote" of all MP's in Parliament regardless of Party to reconsider the legislation and thereby pushing for yet another vote? And how about all those high priced tax breaks to the upper crust of Canadian Society, with but a pittance to parents with children. Oh and let us not forget the HUGE 1% drop in the GST Tax. Let's not forget that he met with George "The Decider" not too long ago. A meeting I am sure was graced by the presence of the Terror Alerter-in-Chief Kark Rove. So let's see. Could the plan possibly be to 1)Raise the terror alert on both sides of the border (that way covering the election atmospherere in both places) 2)Bring out the base (heavily influenced by the U.S. Christian Taliban as it was previously) bringing Prince Stephen the supporters he needs to win a majority government this time around. Don't misunderstand me this could be and probably is a very serious matter. My point here is you can bet your mothers' live in vegas the neocons on both sides of the border will use it to their advantage to take away even more rights from its' legal living citizens to institute more of the upcoming police state on us. National ID cards, injected RFID chips in every person. You name it, they will use it. Don't think so? Take a look at Europe - Britain in particular where that other lap dog of George The Decider resides.

Now I'm Not One To Gossip Or Trade In Rumor --- BUT!!!!!!

King George and Condi???? Woooo Hoooo!!!! Now there is a match made in heaven. So you think I'm kiddin' huh? Well take a look a couple of snippets I found over at Wayne Madsen Reports you might be interested in reading:
First Lady reportedly discovers that "The Decider" decided to violate his marriage vows -- moves out. June 1, 2006 -- UPDATED -- Rocky shoals for Bush marriage? Informed sources Inside the Beltway report that First Lady Laura Bush has established temporary residence in the Mayflower Hotel in Washington, DC as a result of a tiff with President Bush over an extramarital relationship involving her husband. Mr. Bush's tryst is said to involve Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice. It is not known how long Mrs. Bush plans to remain at the Mayflower, however, her security detail has been present at the hotel during hours when the First Lady would normally be residing in the White House. While she was National Security Adviser, Rice, who has never been married, referred to George W. Bush as "my husband" before she corrected herself and said, "President. Bush" Rice was speaking at a dinner hosted by New York Times bureau chief Philip Taubman when she made her "husband" remarks. June 2, 2006 -- A White House source, speaking on background, vehemently denied to WMR that there are marital problems between President Bush and First Lady Laura Bush over a reported extramarital affair between Mr. Bush and Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice. However, two mainstream media sources have confirmed that their sources also have reported an ongoing affair between Mr. Bush and Rice. [emphasis mine]. The mainstream media is hamstrung in reporting stories about Bush's personal life. For example, in 2001, the media highlighted Bush's comments about his passing out from choking on a pretzel while watching a football game in the White House. In reality, Bush, who claims he gave up drinking years ago, passed out from being inebriated. Washington's movers and shakers knew the story about Bush's drinking but the media studiously avoided it.
Oh my I can hardly wait until they find Condi's blue dress (or would it be her spiked heels and riding crop slightly stained with Georgies' blood) and display it for all to see. Can you imagine Mamma Babs' reaction? Yessir (Grand Mammi) Babs would of course be just thrilled that any grand kids to come (remember the Christian Right does NOT believe in birth control) would experience things they never dreamed of nor had it so good, just like the "those people" in the Super Dome. Calling Ken Starr, Calling Ken Starr. Oh Damn!!! Where is that porn writer when he's needed!!!
